Website operation

The ShorePowerCalc website is operated by Southern Electrical Solutions. The current website does not provide a customer-account system, contact form, advertising network, or first-party analytics service. Standard web-server logs may record technical request information such as IP address, browser type, requested page, date, time, and error status for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.

Gumroad checkout and delivery

Purchase links send visitors to Gumroad. Gumroad independently processes payment, customer identity, receipt, license-key, download, tax, fraud-prevention, and related transaction information under Gumroad's own terms and privacy practices. ShorePowerCalc does not receive or store credit-card numbers through this website.

Support email

If you email support, Southern Electrical Solutions receives the email address, message, attachments, and any purchase or technical information you choose to provide. This information is used to answer the request, verify the purchase where necessary, troubleshoot the issue, prevent abuse, and maintain business records.

Do not send a full license key in a public post or public screenshot. Send sensitive purchase information only through the published support email when needed.

Application activation

ShorePowerCalc customer builds send the Gumroad product identifier and entered license key to Gumroad for activation and periodic verification. Gumroad returns purchase and license-status information. The application stores limited local license metadata, including a device-related hash, activation and verification timestamps, expiration, customer-entered name and email, EULA acceptance information, and limited purchase status.

The local license record is stored under the Windows user data folder and is encrypted with Electron safe storage when available. See the EULA displayed during activation for the complete customer-license terms.

Project data

ShorePowerCalc project files and generated reports are stored in locations selected by the user. The application does not intentionally upload .mlc project content or calculation reports to Southern Electrical Solutions or Gumroad as part of normal project work.

Cookies and local storage

The current ShorePowerCalc marketing site does not require first-party cookies for its main functions. Gumroad may use cookies or similar technologies after a visitor follows a purchase link to Gumroad. Those technologies are controlled by Gumroad.

Sharing and retention

Southern Electrical Solutions does not sell customer project content or personal information. Information may be shared with service providers used to operate hosting, email, checkout, licensing, security, or legal compliance, and may be retained as reasonably necessary for support, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute handling, and legal obligations.

Security

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used, but no website, email system, local file, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Customers are responsible for protecting license keys, project files, local accounts, and backups.

Changes

This notice may be updated when the website, application, analytics, checkout, or support practices change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
